What is a salida ?
Salida is the way to exit from "inside dancing" to go to the outside right position

Alternate names: american salida (no step back), salida academica

Tips/Notes: A salida can start with a leader step back, but never to begin the dance. Some teacher does not teach the shoulders position to right but just straight. Some other asks for this shoulder position at the third step just before the cruzada. Somebody strongly recommends a LONG follower step back at step nbr 3 to facilitate the cruzada specially when in cross outside right.
